    • Investment Menu
      Many retirement plans have inferior investment menus resulting in inferior returns and/or unnecessarily high levels of volatility

    • Fiduciary Liability
      Very few business owners, plan trustees or other executives realize the level of personal liability they are taking on while acting in a fiduciary capacity.

      Most retirement programs, when launched, offer participants a genric enrollment packet and little guidance.

    • Customized Plan Structure
      Many employers do not realize the options available in customizing their plan design. An improperly designed plan document, or perhaps simply by using a protocol document could cost the ownership and management of the business thousands of dollars annually.
      IFC Benefit: Custom plan design scenarios are developed annually, empowering employers to make informed decisions on the allowable accounting methods that would be the best fit.
    • Service
      Unfortunately, most plan providers compensate contracted sales people on the number of retirement plans they sell, resulting in no incentive to deliver additional services. In order to meet their sales quotas they need to get their product sold to you and move on to the next prospect.
      IFC Benefit: We do not have product to sell. It is in our best interest to service our clients, not to sell. We utilize two distinct layers of service:
      We mandate a dedicated local service rep from the plan provider and One-On-One, personalized service from IFC offering all of the value adds detailed above.
    • Pricing
      Receiving sub-par product and services is bad enough; paying too much for it is even worse.
      IFC Benefit: One of the cornerstones of IFC is our belief in transparency of compensation paid for services rendered. Fees are customized for each employer’s needs and are readdressed annually verifying that value continues to be delivered.
  • We are proud of our relationship with the non-profit organization, The Heartland Institute of Financial Education, (HIFE).  HIFE partners with Colleges and Universities throughout the US that work with organizations to provide financial literacy and education courses to employees.

HIFE oversees the curiculum and the awarding of the CFEd® designation.  HIFE provides and audits the testing and training for a person to become a Certified Financial Educator.
