Individuals

There are many financial service companies with many different business models and practices available to individuals. Each of these firms tout their services and the benefits of doing business with them. In the end, one must choose to do business with professionals they are comfortable with. Comfortable with their level of knowledge, their ability to deliver the services promised, and most importantly, comfortable with their integrity.

Our mission at IFC is to help individuals change their approach to personal financial planning. We do this by offering a friendly, approachable environment with high caliber professionals who care about your financial wellness.

IFC Process –

Great ideas often fail if they stand alone, rather than being implemented as part of a larger strategy. Clarity, order and peace of mind are born from great systemization.

Step 1  Defining Purpose

  • A goal is only as good as the plan to carry it out. Plans are most likely to succeed when they are purpose driven. This includes goal setting, clarifying objectives and agreeing on reasonable assumptions.

Step 2  Blueprinting

  • More than simply asking the predictable questions, our Blueprinting Process goes deeper. Truly understanding a client’s core beliefs, understanding, experience, fears and desires all add to the blueprint design.
  • Written Goals
  • Insurance Statements (Life, Disability, Property & Casualty, Long-Term Care)
  • Financial Profile
  • Tax Returns
  • Estate Planning Documents

Step 3  Organization

  • “Create Order” is our mantra when reviewing anyone’s complete financial landscape.
  • e-Money is the central nervous system of our services. We organize all of your personal and family financial information in one place – Your own Personal Financial Home Page. Daily updates of all your accounts are in one place – Secure, but available to you at any time and from any place with an Internet connection.
  • EstateLogic™ is an online estate and legacy organization tool that we utilize with our clientele. This allows our clients to have easy access to all their crucial documents.
  • All documents that a client would like to include in the estate organization will be scanned and available inside of their online account. This extremely secure online service is available to our clients and any financial professional they choose to give access to.
  • As our relationship moves forward, the EstateLogic™ account is updated with new information and documents. IFC can view the client account, allowing for meaningful, detailed reviews.
  • EstateLogic™ turns into the one location our clients can access all their important information.

Step 4  Presentation of Analysis

  • Our analysis is presented to the client which lays the foundation for any recommendations that follow.

Step 5  Presentation of Recommendations and Advice

  • Budgeting
  • Emergency Cash Reserve
  • Cash Flow Analysis
  • Debt Analysis and Elimination Strategies
  • Insurance Audit – Disability, Life, Long-term Care and Umbrella Coverage
  • Investment Education
  • Retirement Planning
  • Tax Planning Education
  • Estate Planning Education

As your plan is completed, the most crucial element involved in the process is that the plan be actionable. Without action, the plan lies dormant and purpose is not achieved.

Your plan is built to allow you to carry it out without the need of incurring the cost of ongoing professional fees. If your personal circumstances call for other products or advice regarding securities, tax planning or legal planning, we bring in our network of professionals free of charge.

Explanation of Fees –

One of the cornerstones of IFC is our belief in transparency of fees paid for services rendered.

Fees are presented up front for services required, empowering our clients to make a determination if they find value in the relationship. Clients can choose to pay IFC in one of three ways, all of which are offered to every client.

1) Specific segments of a plan may be focused on and a designated fee paid for each segment.

2) A fixed fee for the level of planning needed.

3) An hourly fee paid at an agreed upon rate. An approximated number of hours are provided to each client.
